We believe that ministry is for people of all ages. At Zion, we have a number of great ways for your child to learn and grow in their faith. From the Day Off Program, to FootPrints, Youth Group, Confirmation class, and those Wednesday Night gatherings in Advent and Lent for children, we are committed to doing this work.

Wednesdays in Lent Children's Program
Beginning February 25, deepen your faith and enjoy a meal with you family. After dinner, children are invited to a special program and adults are invited to attend our evening prayer service. Kids will be watching Zootopia and talking about community. Adults will be learning about the gospel according to Matthew.
Holy Thursday Worship
Maundy Thursday One way we can teach the faith is through acting it out. Maundy Thursday worship is a perfect way to teach kids about Jesus’ final hours before his death. Worship this night will be interactive for everyone, especially kids! Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and worship is at 7 p.m.

We are exploring the possibility of a Mission Trip for our Middle and High school students in the summer of 2026.What do we need to know?If you are interested, please send me your child’s name, age, grade in 2026-2027 school year, and availability this summer. Once we see who is interested and availability, we will be able to choose an appropriate trip for those wishing to attend.
Please email Pastor Matt at pastormatt@zionmiddletown.org with your information ASAP

Summer Camp Registration is Open at Mar-Lu-Ridge! We have scholarships available for those kids connected to Zion. If your child is interested in summer camp, be sure to check out the Camp Day at MLR on March 22 followed by a community meal.

The Children’s Choir preforms a few times a year at special worship services. Rehearsals are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the last 15 minutes of Sunday School class time with Emily Hopson, our Children’s Choir Director. Emily teaches the kids to not only sing, but add rhythm and dance to the music. No music skills are need—Emily will teach them all they need to know!
We have a class for all ages including Middle and High School students. There is adult class typically meets in the room behind the chapel and is excellent and a great place to grow. We also have a place where you can come, sit, drink some coffee, talk with others and take a break in the Library. Even Jesus needed a nap every once in a while…
