Altar Guild

Perhaps you have been looking for a way to share your time as a volunteer at Zion? The Altar Guild may be just what you are looking for! The Altar Guild is a great way to learn a little bit more about worship services and get to know a great group of people at the same time! We are blessed to have enough volunteers that each volunteer usually serves only 6-7 Sundays a year. Do you enjoy decorating for the holidays? You can also help decorate the church for Christmas and Easter with our beautiful seasonal decorations. Christian Education Committee

Are you interested in helping chart the direction of Christian Education at Zion? If you would like to be involved in this ministry, please call Ginger Trautman at 301-371-6500. Committee meetings are the 3rd Monday of each month.

Social Ministry and Outreach (SHOUT)

The SHOUT Committee is restructuring into two ministries. The Caring Ministry Committee is focusing on the ways we can care for one another as a community. We are also continuing to grow in our caring ministries that extend beyond our congregation. Watch for more details about the re-formed Outreach Committee.

Nursery Scheduler

Are you looking for a way to serve your church in a low-commitment way? A nursery scheduler is needed to make a roster two times a year for scheduling adults and helpers for the nursery during the 10:45am worship service.
