Habitat For Humanity
Saturdays 8:00am–3:00pm
Zion is one of six Middletown Valley partner churches involved in the Middletown Habitat project at 211 and 213 South Jefferson street.The work has begun and your help is needed! If you are interested in helping, simply report to the work site on South Jefferson Street Saturdays between 8:00am and 3:00pm. Youth are welcome, but keep in mind that you must be 18 years old to use any power equipment. Please contact Lee Ropp at 301-293-2701 to fill out a waiver form or for any questions. The Food Bank Needs Your Help!
THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Servants of Christ's "WeCanDo" project! Our contributions to the Food Bank have been very substantial during these past two months.Now it is up to all of us to continue this project personally.This was NOT a canned food drive--it was an attempt to help all of us developweekly habit of helping our Food Bank.Moving into the next few months, please continue to donate regularly.Many grocery stores provide a receptacle on-site.Otherwise, keep filling Zion's shopping cart!The Food Bank continues to need our support every single week!

They coordinate donations of time, talent, money, food and other resources to meet the urgent needs of people in Frederick County. The Religious Coalition needs our help. The numbers of clients are increasing in Frederick County. You can make a difference.
Volunteer at the Day Shelter or at the Cold Weather Shelter
The Day Shelter and Cold Weather Shelter, located at the Alan P. Linton Jr. Shelter, is seeking volunteers (18 years or older) to help with greeting and checking in of homeless guests, and handing out needed supplies. For more information or to schedule training, call 301-631-2670

Donate Supplies to the Cold Weather Shelter
The Cold Weather Shelter is in urgent need of supplies. Donations can be placed in the “Religious Coalition” box next to the “Food Bank” cart by the East entrance to the Sanctuary.
