Music and Dance
At Zion, our mission is to praise and share God’s word through many forms of music
from traditional hymns to contemporary praise music. Music
opportunities are available for vocalists, instrumentalists and
dancers! We hope you find a means to praise God and
share your musical gifts!
Senior Choir
Director: John Seachrist

The Senior Choir is open to youth in the 8th-12th grades and all
adults. The Choir practices Thursday evenings,
September through May, and provides support at our 10:45am Worship
Services. The Senior Choir sings a variety of music including
traditional and contemporary. The ability to read music is
not a requirement to join this choir. New members are always
welcome.
Rainbow Choir

The Rainbow Choir is open to everyone regardless of age. The
Rainbow Choir practices Thursday evenings, September through
May, and provides support at the 8:15am Worship Service.
The Rainbow Choir sings contemporary music,
including Praise and Worship, and traditional music as well.
The ability to read music is not a requirement to join this
choir. New members are welcome.
Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir is open to all children through fifth grade.
The children practice once a week and sing once a month, September
through May, usually at the 10:45am Sunday worship service.
Adult Handbell Choir

The Adult Handbell Choir is open to all adults. The Handbell
Choir practices Monday evenings, September through May, and provides
music once a month at the 10:45am Worship Service. New members are
welcome.
Young Musician’s Program

The Young Musicians program is an opportunity for all middle and high school
instrumentalists and singers to share their musical gifts during
worship services.
Contemporary Christian Music “Jam” Group
All are welcome who have an interest in learning to sing or play Contemporary Christian
music. All levels of ability are invited and encouraged to participate.
The group is informal, open and fun!
Liturgical Dancers

This dance group is open to everyone regardless of age. Dancers
perform September through June, at both the 8:15am and 10:45am Sunday
worship services.
