The Gospel of John invites us to "come and see" who Jesus is. What we discover is the Word, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Good Shepherd, the Way, and the Truth. Ultimately what the Gospel of John wants us to experience is the authentic and abundant life that we have in Jesus.
Come and see for yourself this Lent as the good news in John's Gospel is revealed for us to- day through the presentations by Mark Vitalis Hoffman, Professor at Gettysburg Seminary.

Lent is a time to remember Christ dying on the Cross for our sins. It is a time of reflection as we culminate to Easter with the celebration of the fulfillment of God's promise in Christ's resurrection. During Holy week (April 13-18) a Cross will be at the side of the Church with a hammer, nails and paper.
We invite you, along with the community, to come and share/release a burden, concern, hope or prayer, by writing it on a piece of paper and nailing it to the cross.
Watch the transformation of the cross on Easter Sunday; see how Christ takes your burdens and turns them into something beautiful.
We invite all youth, ages 3rd grade and younger, to join us on Saturday, April 19, for an Easter Egg Hunt in celebration of Christ's resurrection.
This year come see the antics of our puppet ministry as they help us make sense of the season. We'll also have games and crafts. Bring a basket or bag for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Millions of people are affected each year by this completely treatable disease. Together we can make an impact. Pledge money today for each mile that he runs (probably about 750 over the course of a year). You can make a donation by writing a check to Zion; or through an online donation.
